For all "hip hop fans"--> DO YOUR HOMEWORK
It truly breaks my heart that when the name Outkast comes up in conversation, people in our generation think of "Hey Ya" and Andre 3000 dancing around doing jazz hands with a bunch of Oompa Loompas. Outkast was one of the first rap groups from the south to really define hip hop. Personally, they are arguably my favorite band of all time. Slow, soothing, sit back and blow some O's, beats allow Andre and Big Boi to vary the speed of their verses so they can rip tracks apart. The flows of Big Boi and 3 stacks combined with profound lyrical content make me wonder what music has come to when people don't recognize a duo so good. Soak up these classics and take a deep breath.
